Silk thread necklace with an 18ct white gold clasp, 32 silver colored Keshi and knots between each keshi.

Keshi size: between 10 and 13 mm width

Keshi color: Silver

Necklace assembly: Black silk thread and 18-carat white gold clasp

Keshi is made from the rejection of the graft. The oyster rejects the nucleus, but the mantle (the graft-tissue) remains stuck in the pearl pocket and continues to secrete mother-of-pearl on itself. This lump is usually from the 3rd graft.
